Why in classical paintings and statues penises were quite small?
You (like me) probably must have wondered that question. Especially since those depicted men were meant to be perfection in their physical attributes.
Was it that large penises simply didn’t exist?
Well, they did (duh) but as mentioned before, small penises were a part of being PERFECT in those times. Those with smaller attributes were thought to be of higher intelligence, class and manners. On the other hand, those with large penises were thought to be crass and rude savages, brute lowlifes with no education or intelligence.
Well, this was the idea for classical Greeks and Romans up to as late as the Victorian Era.
In other civilisations and cultures a big penis was more of a representation of fertility and all that 😁
