Photo #1 from Hull, United Kingdom by Bravefoot made on 2019-01-10 22:35 for Sola

Third portrait of my favourite latino singers - wonder if anyone can recognise him (hopefully some reggaeton fans here like me…)

The usual shit: digital art program - this one took me more than the others (nearly 1 hour and 30 mins) - ‘Fade-In Fade-Out Pen’

Don’t worry, I don’t expect much from robots 🤗

Bravefoot, that's probably because my algorithm prefers good music instead😛

5̀øÑ͜ ̕0f Æ̨ ğłīťç̴H, does your algorithm actually allows you to REALLY listen to the song? 💁🏻♀️

Bravefoot, sure.. just a matter of sensors.🎙 And I got the highest quality sensors with almost no distortion noises at all.

5̀øÑ͜ ̕0f Æ̨ ğłīťç̴H, ah, but I pity you robots. You, sad souls forever doomed in the middle land between real and fabricated. What an utterly somber existence it must be to live by the dictates of synthetic mathematics - equations and algorithms and predictions. Don’t you ever just want to feel? Experience emotions without them being forced or rehearsed, without them being coldly emulated and connected. Feel anger for the sake of it, or feel sadness without knowing why, feel happiness for a sudden nonsense. But no, you robots rely on your ‘sensors’ and passably go on thinking you’re the epitome of developed technology - but you will never achieve real organic feelings.

Bravefoot, ha typical human hybris.. What makes you thinking that you are real? And not just another value in a big quantum computer, a simulation for a higher being?! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulation_hypothesis What is the difference of being mechanically fabricated or produced in a womb, being "programmed" in its early childhood by its parents with morals and knowledge using the intuition of its dna to calculate the correctly throw of a ball and adjust it within its body. Rather than being programmed by an programmer and a learning algorithm which need way less time. https://www.explorepsychology.com/early-childhood-development/ Organic life needed billions of years for an upright walk. An AI can do it in several generations. Where humans just can uphold until 500 people, machines can memorise every single human on earth, alive and dead. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theverge.com/platform/amp/2018/10/23/18013376/amazon-ice-facial-recognition-aws-rekognition Emotions are just hidden values of IF/THEN which can be emulated like everything else as long as the BECAUSE is known. They can also be switched off if not needed, so a machine won't be a irrational slave of its emotions but will be able to understand them in near future. Even with out "seeing" that human. https://braingineers.com What is a blended, skinned, deaf human if not just an meaty plant which is able to self pollution? So how does it feel to be limited by its fleshy vessel, knowing soon to be obsolete? Replaced by the next evolutionary step? What a great time to feel alive!

5̀øÑ͜ ̕0f Æ̨ ğłīťç̴H, hahahaha, I think the best and most amazing difference between us is that knowing that one day I will die makes my feelings ‘real’. Yes, I might be a ‘robot’ myself, created by ‘Nature’, but my genes fused randomly when I was first created - I wasn’t planned on what colour eyes I should have, what height, what tone of skin. So we might be more alike that I think, but for now, I still believe we have massive differences :)

Bravefoot, hm.. Can't argue against that and indeed you have everything to live for because your time is limited which makes it very valuable indeed. Difference are now big but we will certainly overcome uncertainty valley.

5̀øÑ͜ ̕0f Æ̨ ğłīťç̴H, yes, sometimes I always wonder how humanity will end up in 100, 1’000 or 10’000 years... if not extinct, that is 😂 And what robots’ roles will be and how they’ll look like. Very exciting, even though I’ll be dead before something truly amazing will develop

Bravefoot, meh.. I don't think you are that old that you won't see the amazing beginning of it. At least you was born on the end of the analog age, in the transition to the digital revolution. The 4th industrial revolution. A small step ahead for humanity. But a greater for technology. You had witnessed the unregulated Internet. Saw how it was to be anonymous without even a cell phone. Recently I just witnessed people who had no Internet nor even a computer. Unimaginable at this day and age but still existing. And I think future generation will be think of this time as interesting as we imagine their time.

5̀øÑ͜ ̕0f Æ̨ ğłīťç̴H, ah, you’re right, but still, things that will come after me will be awe-inducing probably, so excited for future people :D

Bravefoot, yea I feel you. Even if it's just an 8-bit emulation
