So when you guys are in bed and ready to go to sleep, how do you make yourslef fall asleep? Any special thoughts? Special ways?

I personally start doing Punnet squares in my mind with dog genetics 👀😂

I don't know, I never remember how I fall asleep ! I'm often upset because I take so much time to fall asleep, I'm like "why can't I sleep ?" "I'm so tired" and then I wake up the next morning.

That happens to me 😀😂😂😂 Like, we never know the moment we actually fall asleep, I can only feel myself slowly falling LOL It takes me around half an hour, but on some bad occasions it takes me up to 3 😅

Escape, when I was a little kid I was into reading. My mother is an avid reader, she used to bring books from the local library for me to read. I would read every time when going to bed. One time, when reading one from the Harry Potter saga, I had closed the book because it took more effort to actually keep my lids from closing than reading the book.

Escape, no. I stopped quite some years ago. I can't really pinpoint when. Somewhere during high school maybe.

Escape, I don't remember how or why exactly. Probably doing other things instead of reading. Today for example, instead of reading, I'm on my computer at 23:46 and I'm going to have trouble sleeping because of staying on a screen all day long

Just another guy, I spend around 5-6 hours reading a day on the phone... it does give me headaches, and it’s probably killing my eyesight, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world 😂

I usually lie down on my side, head on the pillow and read a book. Five pages on average and I'm asleep. 💤

I always try to think to positive stuffs, like in a dream. If I had enough money to buy the flat or the house I would like, what kind of flat or house would I buy? Same for a travel, or anything else I would like to have, to do, etc... These kind of positive thoughts are enough to make me dreaming and sleeping.

I have experimented so many nights stressed by strong anxieties without sleeping. It's my psychiatrist who told me how to prepare my mind for sleeping. 😉

I am dreaming about aliens, different kind of creatures that are only come to my mind before sleep, sometimes listen to music or ocean/thunder sounds, and about movie or books that have influenced me in some way, and very rarely but compose some music in my head 😀 Most of the time the inspiration finds me exactly before sleep 😀

Ohhh, they all sound good! I love storm sounds too, I manage to fall asleep easier with the sounds of the wind and rain patter 🤤

I put some relaxing piano music on and mostly i'm tired enough to sleep like a dead in under one minute

Close your eyes. Breathe in 4 seconds and hold it for 6 then exhale for 8. All while thinking of your feet starting to become weightless. With that weightlessness drifting up through your legs and all the way up to your head. Imagine water flowing like a river through your body and poof you're asleep :)

Ah, this reminds me of an app that I used to have for my sleeping? It was ok, but ended up not working much 😂

I have big problems with these moments. But I heard of the relaxing and sleepy making efect of drinking chamomile tea. You dont realise it by just drinking it, but if you cant sleep and drink some good amounts I feel the difference :D

Sorry I missed this before it expired. I often fall asleep by reading Sola or some other web forum. Or by listening to radio. And sometimes just by lying down and closing my eyes. I do something to get my mind wandering. It might be by thinking about the melody of someone's music or by some interesting idea prompted in an online conversation, or just my own reverie. Once my thoughts start to drift I'm off to dreamland.
